PO-Labs has Gas Cromatographs Agilent 6890 GC with electron impact ionization mass spectrometry detector. Such instrument is extremely sensitive to any compounds which may evaporate at high temperature. The mass spectrometry detector may be operated in scanning and single ion mode. The scanning mode gives compound structure information, which may be easily identified by NIST and other MS spectra database search engines. The single ion mode MS is known as the most sensitive analytical method.
