Nanoformulation Drug Delivery - Encapsulation of Custom Drugs in Nanoparticles
PO-Laboratories developed a theory and a highly successful technology of encapsulation of drug compounds into nanoparticles. Several independent organizations and university researchers confirmed effective delivery into cells and through the brain-blood barrier, our intravenous (IV) nanoformulations, prepared by PO-Laboratories without prior disclosure of the technology. Sterile IV formulations that we manufactured remain stable for a minimum of four years.
The technology allows us to use many different biopolymers to encapsulate a drug and create nanoparticles. The surface charge is adjustable, which controls the cellular uptake. Also, the surface of nanoparticles can be made with biomarkers, proteins or antibodies. These particles are perfect vehicles for selective, targeted drug delivery.
